What do I do as a coach?
Working with me is a mind, heart, and soul investment. You will not be the same after our time together.
There are a few ways I work with people:
Individual coaching for burnt-out creative humans.
Individual grief coaching for those who want to grieve with purpose.
Six Month Grief Group Program, Rising.
All in all, coaching is about powerful questions and powerful reflections. I help people move forward and claim the life they desire, NOT from giving them advice or telling them what to do, but from asking the questions that help them generate their own awareness. It is my job to relate to each person as the expert of their own lives. From there, we create actions that would move them forward towards the life they want.
I empower all of my clients to not settle for anything less than what they want.
I empower them to be the fullest expression of themselves in this life.
I empower each person to bloom as they are.
How does coaching differ from therapy?
Therapy (counseling, psychotherapy, etc.) primarily involves working with a healthcare professional to examine the past, find emotional resolutions for trauma, and involves the diagnosis of psychological disorders.
This differs from life coaching, which focuses on the future and applying actions to your self-awareness. We do talk about your past, since it has shaped who you are, but we spend more time creating structures around what you can do to overcome any limiting beliefs, behaviors, and obstacles.
Can therapy and life coaching work together?
YES! There is a huge misconception that life coaching is only beneficial for those who do not want therapy. I tell everyone that life coaching is and can be most effective when a client works with a trusting therapist at the same time.
If you are currently in therapy, working through trauma and/or other deep emotional wounds, that is a good indication that continuing this form of rehabilitation would benefit you while partnering with a life coach. And if you are currently unaware of any unhealed emotional patterns and not in therapy, that is completely fine too! You do not need to be in therapy to hire a life coach, but if I notice any recurring patterns throughout our sessions, I will gently let you know.
What can a coach help me to create?
I define goals as “empowering measures for our desires.” I do not help people achieve goals that make them “look good.” I help people achieve goals that would authentically provide them fulfillment in these areas of their life: personal development, relationships, career, money, wellness, and spirituality.
We look at creating and pursuing three goals during the time we work together.
How long does a client work with a coach?
I work with clients for nine months - one year. Most times, even longer!
It is deeply transformational work, therefore it all depends on your individual goals and aspirations. The longer the partnership, the greater the results are for a client.
How do you conduct your sessions?
For life coaching: Each session is 60 minutes/once a week. I conduct all my sessions over the phone or through Zoom, which allows me to partner with clients all over the world. I am also available to my clients throughout the week whenever they need a dose of perspective and empowerment.
For grief coaching: Each session is 60 minutes. I offer packages, therefore “when” we meet depends on your grief and what would best serve you.
How much does coaching cost?
There are few different ways I work with clients: individually, groups, and workshops. Depending on what you’re looking for, I can get a better idea of what offering would suit you and how much it would cost. Come talk to me if you have questions and fears about money.
